January 2005 saw an awesome community concert hosted courtesy of the Combined Churches of New Plymouth and the New Plymouth District Council.

Based on an initiate by Life Advance Community Centre, the day was a great success, and all profits went towards the Tsunami relief appeal fund. Other acts included: Sela, 8 Orange Orchid, Blaze (HipHop dance), SpaciFX, Shawn Redpah, hEdrush, and Nga Raukura O Taranaki
